Logistics Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Full-time; hours may vary based on business needs
  • Current schedule: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
• Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
• Work Environment: 100% in-office

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, packing, labeling, and shipment tracking
• Verify shipments against orders and maintain accurate documentation
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues
• Support local delivery scheduling and route coordination
• Obtain shipping quotes and select cost-effective carriers
• Perform inventory counts and shipment audits
• Maintain and update shipment tracking reports and logistics records

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of logistics and/or warehouse experience
• Extensive data entry experience
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with vendors, drivers, stores, and customers
• Flexible, team-oriented, and adaptable in changing environments

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency with FedEx, UPS, and shipping platforms
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required)
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including:
  • Data entry
  • VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
  • Pivot tables
  • Shipment tracking reports
• Working knowledge of:
  • Shipping and warehouse operations
  • Inventory systems
